This is a great opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives by being part of an area of the University that improves health outcomes for patients. It is also a chance to be part of a new team achieving success by improving the University’s health research facilities.

As part of a recently established team, you will work in the University’s Digital Health Enterprise Zone to enable the operation of research, learning and innovation facility. Managed by the Research and Innovation Environment Manager and working closely with the Director of the Digital Health Enterprise Zone, you will be part of a wider team aiming to improve the University’s contribution to improved health and social care through better management of its health-related research facilities.

As well as being expected to help the Research and Innovation Environment Manager deliver improved services and processes for prospective and existing clients, the post will support current and prospective tenants of the facility with enquires and problem-solving and provide business intelligence reporting, diary, event and marketing support, and formal meeting servicing.

You will be a customer-focused person with a genuine interest in gathering feedback and working with a team to deliver improved services for clients. You will have committee servicing, event organising and data management experience and be confident working with academics, staff across departments, students, and companies to develop relationships that achieve the best outcomes.

You will be organised and efficient and be able to organise your own work and motivate yourself to achieve.

This role is fixed term until 31 August 2023 to cover a short period of absence for the current post holder. The University offers substantial additional benefits, including a minimum of 21 days annual leave, as well as statutory and customary holidays, and the option to participate in our defined-benefit pension scheme.

Informal enquiries about the role should be addressed to Helen Horsman, Research and Innovation Environment Manager in the Department of Research and Innovation Services, at [email protected]
