The business operations coordinator will equally support the daily business operations functions for the Office of University Communications and Marketing’s video production and photography units. This is a critical role that’s primary responsibilities include scheduling photography and video shoots, coordinating all key details of a photo or video shoot including logistics, desired shot list and deadlines, managing the procurement process for freelance talent as well as the internal billing process for campus stakeholders, and coordinating on-campus filming with outside entities. This role also serves as the primary administrative support for the photography and videography unit staff members which include reconciling credit card statements, making travel arrangements, coordinating meetings and events, buying and managing equipment inventory, and project management. This position will work closely with the UCM administrative team, University leaders, faculty, staff and students. They will act as the UCM liaison with the Office of General Council, Athletics, and other internal entities to facilitate the various approvals and agreements required to conduct video and photography shoots on Pitt’s campuses.
Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience.
