Leeds Academic Health Partnership

Hosted by the University of Leeds

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you an influencer, skilled in managing relationships and communicating with a wide and varied audience?  Do you have financial and people management experience?

The Leeds Academic Health Partnership is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, bringing together academia, health, care, industry and third sectors.

  • We act as a gateway to the city’s health and care system, working with it to forge unique collaborations across our partnership when that will achieve the best health outcomes for the people of Leeds.
  • We help raise the profile of the city’s health and care research and innovation and support its ambition to be the ‘best city’ for health and wellbeing by 2030.
  • At the heart of this ambition is a mission to tackle inequality, boost inclusive economic growth and improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Leeds home.

As our Business Manager, you will be responsible for the full portfolio of business support functions across the Partnership. You will manage our governance, finance, team human resources, office space, internal policy making and audits, staff training and development, and asset and risk management. You will play a key part in driving the Partnership forward, supporting the Partnership Director to achieve the LAHP’s strategic objectives.
