Job Title: Business Architect

Location : Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH/ Phoenix, AZ/ Birmingham, AL/Dallas, TX

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Job Summary:

The main function is to plan, organize and develop business architecture to maximize performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs analysis, routine problem resolution and outcomes estimation in accordance with standards and processes.

• Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary.

• Analyze business requirements to develop an end-to-end high-level business strategy.

• Perform analysis to identify decision points and business rules.

• Conduct risk analysis, quality assurance, and routine issue resolution in business architecture.

• Estimate on the effectiveness of business architecture outcomes and communicate client feedback to technology teams in order to improve deliverables and meet business requirements.

Required Skills:

• Familiar with Agile, SDLC methodologies.

• Ability to think in both a strategic and tactical manner.

• Cognizant of enterprise strategies.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

• Strong analytical creativity.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.

• 5-7 years experience

Key responsibilities:

Providing thought leadership around reporting needs

Developing executive level reporting to show project delivery

Looking at ways to enhance reporting infrastructure to support the types of reports that are being built

Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):

Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence applications

SQL (Expert Level)

Tableau and other BI tools (PowerBI OBIEE) Candidate will be asked to demonstrate knowledge

SDLC end-to-end

Jira

Agile

Flex Skills:

Translating business into technical requirements

Expert levels/Higher Yrs of Exp in Required skills

Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:

Excellent verbal/written Communication with high level executives
