Savan Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in requirements development, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Power Platforms to support a federal government client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving the implementation of various reporting and process improvement activities within SharePoint Online. In addition to documenting requirements, the Business Analyst must also possess the ability to support SharePoint and Power Platform Development tasks.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for various projects and initiatives.

  • Manage and track project tasks, issues, and enhancements throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, identify project scope, and define business objectives.

  • Create and maintain user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant documentation to ensure a clear and comprehensive requirement understanding.

  • Assist in the development of test plans and test cases to validate the functionality and quality of deliverables.

  • Design, develop, and customize SharePoint Online sites, workflows, forms, and templates to address business needs effectively.

  • Collaborate with development teams and subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of SharePoint-based solutions.

  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to create custom business applications and automate processes.

  • Conduct user training sessions and provide support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of technology solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend appropriate technology solutions to optimize business operations.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.

  • Hands-on experience in SharePoint Online development, including site creation, customization, and configuration.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power Apps and Power Automate, and their application in solving business challenges.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in federal government projects or similar highly-regulated environments is a plus.

  • U.S. Citizen

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • SCRUM certification

  • SharePoint certification
