  • Estimating effort to ensure we can prioritise, manage, and meet expectations regarding the deliverables.

  • Workshop design, including relevant slide packs, and facilitation for small groups of stakeholders up to twenty or more including attendees with varying levels of authority from within our organisation across the relevant solution lines and/or regions. Workshops may require attendance in person at an office that is not your assigned office.

  • Requirement’s elicitation, validation, and documentation, ensuring detail supports traceability from idea through to acceptance testing.

  • Creating current and future Level 4 Process Diagrams that correlate to the overarching Global taxonomy reflecting Commercial Lines, Health and Wealth capabilities.

  • Working collaboratively with team members to proactively prepare project materials; including RAID contributions through data analysis to support design principles for the business outcomes.

  • Ensuring the benefits identified within the Business Case are realised or can be measured.

    How this opportunity is different

Our UK Change Team serves all Solution Lines and all Regions of the UK, so the projects and stakeholders are wide and varied. If you enjoy learning about different commercial processes and products, then this role provides opportunity for both knowledge growth and career progression. Equally, if you prefer to specialise, this can be highlighted in 121’s with your line manager and resource allocation processes can be advised of preferences. Obviously operational need may override preference on occasion BUT Aon encourages colleagues to discuss their career aspirations and provides many opportunities for those that wish to stretch themselves.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are looking for colleagues that are:

  • Excellent communicators who can build strong working relationships at a variety of levels across our business enabling healthy negotiation where influencing skills can be drawn upon whilst adapting style, content and level of detail appropriately.

  • Critical thinkers who can investigate, interpret, and understand complex business problems, articulating clear activities which result in desired solutions

  • Technically competent, ideally with a recognised qualification, e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or similar that substantiates their capability for analysing our business; from identifying pain points, threats and opportunities supported with relevant data analysis through to designing Target Operating Models with documented processes, organisation structures and impact assessments that are presented in format to suit the audience.

  • Adaptable and able to communicate openly, honestly and independently with stakeholders to understand their business goals and processes at a level where an impact analysis can be completed and if required the approach to delivery can be discussed to enable a successful business outcome supporting relevant business goals such as improved operational efficiency, reduced operational risk, reduced expenses and/or scalable growth whilst adhering to any mandated milestones or priorities that have been agreed.

  • Experienced in business change within insurance; Broking, MGA, underwriting function knowledge is beneficial as is FCA Regulatory change experience. A strong track record of working on successful business change projects is essential and could cover a myriad of experiences such as Data warehousing, MI reporting, Target Operating Model implementation, BPR, Document management or template design and development including workshop design and facilitation.
