Business Analyst in Deer Park, Texas

Description

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in Deer Park, Texas. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the IT department and the Business Management and Process Engineering organizations. Your primary goal will be to drive continuous improvement opportunities by understanding the business processes, requirements, and utilization of each IT application.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a business relationship manager for various teams including commercial, supply chain, economics, scheduling, planning, and process engineering teams.

• Collaborating closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop strategic roadmaps for business capabilities and applications.

• Working with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to deliver key projects.

• Participating in Business and IT team discussions, exchanging best practices.

• Collaborating with offshore Applications Support teams and enforcing infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements.

• Developing a roadmap of application and technology that enables business capabilities.

• Maintaining and supporting the portfolio of applications for the Business Management organization including contract and license management.

• Leading vendor relations and management.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to define requirements for enhancements and improvements.

• Leading application projects, deployments, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Defining and deploying IT Policies and procedures for the correct use and governance of applications.

Requirements • Proficiency in Business Analysis is required for this role

• Must be adept in Implementation methodologies and strategies

• Experience in Application Deployments is a necessity

• Should be capable of providing Application Support as per business needs

• Familiarity with Application Upgrades is essential

• Must have experience working with Enterprise Applications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are crucial

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role in a corporate setting

• Must have a strong understanding of how IT processes and systems function

• Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

• Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques is a plus
