Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team at (Big Bank Name). This role is pivotal in driving the strategic and regulatory initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the financial services industry, with a focus on regulatory compliance, data analysis, and technology implementation. You will work closely with senior leadership, including C-suite executives, to ensure our regulatory and data management strategies align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank, GDPR) and their impact on the organization’s business processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk Management teams to ensure alignment with current and upcoming regulatory changes.
• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to comply with industry regulations.
• Data Analysis & Management:
• Leverage advanced data analytics to extract insights, drive decision-making, and optimize business processes.
• Work with data teams to design and implement data governance frameworks that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for strategic improvements.
• Technology & Systems Integration:
• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of technology solutions that support regulatory compliance and business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance systems, tools, and platforms that improve data management and reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate new technologies and platforms, providing recommendations for adoption and integration.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Engage with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders to present findings, provide strategic recommendations, and drive project alignment.
• Develop and deliver high-impact presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex data and regulatory insights effectively.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure project success.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CBAP) is a plus.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, data analytics, and technology.
• Proven track record of working with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or Big 4 consulting firms is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI) and strong understanding of data governance.
• Technology Savvy: Familiarity with banking technologies, data management platforms, and system integration.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk management and financial modeling.
• Certification in business analysis (CBAP, PMP, or similar).
