Your role

The Business Analyst will work closely with business, functional and technical stakeholders in defining scope and requirements, identifying and documenting current and future state business processes, and designing functional aspects of solutions in alignment with business needs. Taking on a proactive role in helping shape a project from inception through to completion, the Business Analyst will work closely with architects, developers and testers in ensuring that the delivered solution meets business needs.

The Business Analyst will become an expert in the business domain in which he/she operates and will provide consultative advice to stakeholders as required. The Business Analyst will support the Project Manager in the completion of project tasks and deliverables that relate to business analysis, e.g. analysis planning and estimates. The Business Analyst will also be a key contributor to the BA Practice and play an active role in sharing knowledge and skills with other Business Analysts.

Key selection criteria

  • A relevant degree or post graduate qualification. Applicants without formal qualifications must have an equivalent level of professional expertise gained through experience.

  • Certification in BABOK or PMI preferable but not essential.

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering and analysis, business process development and use case development.

  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC and involvement across the entire project lifecycle.

  • Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

  • Previous experience working in an ERP application development environment (either PeopleSoft, Workday or similar) and/or a web services environment.

English Proficiency:

  • The minimum requirement is IELTS Academic 6.5 or 170 in Linguaskills.
