Our Business Analysts are the drivers behind our continued growth and success. We’re currently seeking to appoint a Business Analyst to help guide our organisation into the future. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impact, our ideal candidate is a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. They should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Your key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:

  • Work with team members to facilitate growth and development by giving balanced, constructive feedback
  • Distil the core issues from complex business problems, draw accurate conclusions and condense complex information and next steps into simple concise terms that users can understand and apply
  • Seek feedback on improvement for Intelligent Automation initiatives from a diverse range of key stakeholders and implement change through appropriate channels and overcome obstacles to change to ensure early adoption by users
  • Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of users, stakeholders or key and influential individuals across the University
  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on stakeholder and user needs
  • Strive for excellence and consult regularly with clients and users to clarify who requires the information, the purpose for which it is required, criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required
  • Communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase understanding, support and adoption

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience working within a large scale and complex organisation
  • Experience as a business analyst working in an IT development environment
  • Experience gathering, documenting and managing user requirements
  • Knowledge of systems, process and business improvement capabilities
  • Experience designing effective solutions to complex business and technical problems
