| Work Schedule | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Monday – Friday Some weekend work required. Will have ‘on-call’ designation. Staff member will carry a phone 7-8 weeks per year and respond to after-hours custodial emergencies. Mandatory Employee This position is designated as ‘mandatory’ and, when contacted to report to work, its incumbent is expected to reach the campus as expeditiously as possible using normal precautions as dictated by the adverse weather conditions. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervision of general cleaning responsibilities consistent with the standards set by Housing and Residence Life. This position will include area supervision for 2-3 residential complexes, up to 8 employees with additional temporary staff in summer, and training of staff on procedures and new products or equipment. |
| Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, and one year of experience in the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from high school and three years experience in the area of work assigned, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
