BRAND CONTENT COORDINATOR
We are seeking somebody who is dynamic, personable and passionate to join our Marketing & Brand Experience team as our Brand Content Coordinator! As a member of our team of champions, you will gain meaningful work experience in a welcoming and exciting environment where we lead by example and work together to deliver extraordinary experiences.
You will be responsible for developing, executing and analyzing content and campaigns for a range of marketing channels including website, collateral, email, social media and both internal/external communications.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Continually curate content for social media posts by utilising own photography skills, as well as building relationships with external photographers
Manage day to day media relations/requests for brand and corporate issues
Provide central support to the Marketing & Brand Experience team
Conduct thorough content audits and analysis to identify gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement
Manage the vendor relationships; specifically building relationships with local photographers and like-minded vendors and partners
Develop written materials such as press releases, Q&A, media standby statements on brand and corporate issues as required
Assist with the creation of all brand PR materials to ensure communication is accurate, relevant and consistent with the Carmens Group brand and overall messaging
Evaluate the effectiveness of social media programs and communicate results
Develop and implement an online communications strategy ensuring an alignment with the internal communications strategy
Collaborate with team members as needed and help provide creative solutions to communication problems
Manage the day to day social media platforms content and deployment, including creating schedules for content for all social media accounts and email communications
Manage the photography and videography assets of each venue and ensure consistency with brand standards
Manage paid media advertising with our agencies
Assist in developing the social media communication plans
Uphold Carmen’s Group vision, purpose & values
Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or a related discipline
1-2 years’ experience managing social media platforms with successful results, including creating and editing videos
Efficient in Canva
Strong working knowledge of communication principles and practices
Photography background required; photography experience within the hospitality industry is considered an asset
Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with strong writing and editorial abilities
Demonstrated success with social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others
Strong project management skills
Must be able to meet tight deadlines and execute flawlessly on projects in a fast paced, often pressured environment and see a project through to completion
Must have the ability to be an influential communications consultant within the organization
Must have the ability to work effectively in a team
Mist be capable of maintaining confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy regarding information
The ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees is critical
Reliable transportation to travel between venues is required
Ability to attend and conduct presentations
Schedule flexibility required including weekend and evening availability
