Brake Press Operator in Vancouver, British Columbia

Aerotek is hiring a Break Press Operator for our client located in Vancouver, BC

Working on energy efficient HVAC systems that have over 100 configurations that customers can customize. Units will be installed in various commercial spaces (office buildings, schools, government facilities, health care buildings etc.)

Must Haves:

• 3 years experience as a brake press operator

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Good English communication – written, understanding, spoken

• Able to lift 50lbs

Job Description:

• This person will work on the graveyard shift with one other person

• They will do general operation of the brake press machine for the whole shift

• Ability to read CAD drawings

• Ability to look up drawings if needed

• Report safety hazards, quality and production issues

• Get involved in continuous improvement by providing suggestions

Shift: Graveyard/night shift

• Monday to Friday 10pm – 6:30am

• * MUST BE OK WITH TRAINING ON AM OR PM SHIFT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS *

• * They are potentially moving to 12 hour shifts in the new year and that could be over the weekend *

Wage :

• $30 hourly including shift premium
