Bilingual Account Manager – Insurance in Calgary, Alberta

Description:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a combination of large to mid sized corporate accounts (80%) and individual clients (20%) by handling renewals and service touchpoints. By collaborating with the Sales and Underwriting teams, you will also be tasked with the implementation of some new accounts, mostly provided through the company’s broker network. There will be expectations to bring in new sales and adding benefit packages to existing policyholders.

Hours = 8:30-4:30/9:00-5:00pm MST!!! Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

1) Active LLQP License or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment

2) Bilingual English/French verbal and written

3) Active Drivers License & Ability to travel out of country (for client visits and trainings)

4) Minimum 1 year in sales/client facing role:

  • A = in travel, health, disability or P&C commercial insurance

  • B = in banking/financial sector

    5) High School Diploma

    PREFERENCE IS CANDIDATES THAT HAVE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SKILLS INSTEAD OF SALES EXPERIENCE

If from Calgary: Candidates must go into office 2-3 times a week

If from outside Calgary: Candidates must be open to travelling to Calgary office for team building/training once a quarter
