Job description

Do you want to contribute to KTH’s research impact by supporting KTH researchers and management with bibliometric analyses? As a member of the KTH Library’s bibliometrics group, you will fill an important role in performing data analyses and producing statistics on publishing at KTH. Under the direction of university management, your work will consist of co-publishing and benchmark analyses. An important part of your role involves data-driven analysis, improving data quality, and curating data for further analysis. Working with different API’s is also expected. Furthermore, you will be part of KTH and Vinnova’s cooperation project (the Bibcap project). Some analyses for other universities and research institutes will also be a part of your duties.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • University degree in a field relevant for the position
  • Work with large datasets
  • Programming experience
  • Knowledge of research policy and what impact data analysis has in this area
  • Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English which is used on a regular basis 
  • Working knowledge of Swedish, or the ambition to improve your Swedish

Preferred qualifications

  • Completed PhD studies or a degree/diploma in statistics
  • Experience in bibliometric analysis
  • Experience in analysing statistical data

You are comfortable interacting with and holding concise and engaging presentations for a wide range of audiences.
