Biblical and Theological Studies Adjunct Faculty

Teach Christian Theology class during Interim, January 2023, and perhaps in future semesters

 

• Design an introductory theology course (with support from the department) that meets a general education requirement for first- and second-year undergraduates
• Draw up a syllabus and maintain a course Moodle page
• Teach the class in person, grade assignments and tests, and support students as needed to promote their learning
• Contribute to an academic environment that actively seeks to increase inclusive excellence in the department and in the discipline

• Ability and interest in teaching undergraduate students in a face-to-face environment
• Ability to explain complex theological concepts
• Understanding of and commitment to Bethel’s efforts to develop as an inclusive university community

Undergraduate teaching experience preferred

Master’s degree in Theology or Master of Divinity required; PhD in Theology preferred

Compensation:     Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience
