Barry University School of Law in Orlando seeks two Bar Exam Fellows. This is a part-time temporary student position working up to 20 hours per week. The Bar Exam Preparation Fellow will assist the CLASP Department in all areas of bar preparation, including but not limited to: the Barry MPRE Program, the Barry Bar Mentor Program, the Bar Application Program, Breakfast Club and the Dean’s Lunch Club Lecture Series.
MUST BE A BARRY LAW SCHOOL STUDENT
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Assistant Dean of CLASP and Directors of Multiple Choice and Writing Initiatives in providing information related to bar application and exam preparation by holding group workshops supervised by the CLASP team, small group sessions and individual meetings with students participating in the various programs and workshops.
- Help set up and proctor mock exams for the MPRE and bar exam.
- Work with students on study skills and preparation for the MPRE.
- Assist with making copies, distribution of books, collection of necessary information, dissemination of information and advertising various opportunities and workshops offered by CLASP.
- Any related functions deemed necessary to facilitate the various programs and workshops offered by CLASP and Barry Law School to students engaged in the bar application or bar preparation process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Barry Law School student
- Ability to work with other students taking the MPRE
