Athletics Communications Director

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Athletic Communications Director.

THE POSITION

The Athletic Communications Director supports Bryn Mawr College’s 12 intercollegiate sports through generating creative video/digital content, media relations, press releases, website and other print and electronic media. This position requires night and weekend work. This position reports to the Associate Athletic Director.

The AC Director will direct all athletics communications, including but not limited to new releases, features, gameday operations, statistics collection and management, publications, photography, social media, and creative content.  The Director will manage the athletics website (gobrynmawr.com) and social media platforms and will be instrumental in the website redesign with Sidearm slated for March 2023.

The successful candidate will be a savvy social media content creator who is proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Creative Cloud, and photo and video editing software. They will also have knowledge of in-game statistical software (such as Stat Crew, PrestoStats, and NCAA LiveStats).  We require a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) and at least 3 years of experience within athletic communications.
