Scholarship information

The Medallion Scholarship Program is the ASU Alumni Association’s signature scholarship initiative. The Medallion Scholarship Program is more than a financial award, it is a comprehensive program that recognizes and develops a proud tradition of leadership, scholarship, and service. The Alumni Association’s Medallion Scholarship Program Selection Committee is comprised of ASU alumni from around the world, and selects approximately 40 Medallion Scholars for each year’s entering freshman class. Financial support for the Medallion Scholarship Program comes from individual donations and from a portion of the fees paid for the ASU collegiate “Sparky” and “Pitchfork” license plates. ASU alumni play a critical role in this program as volunteers. More than 100 individuals serve on the scholarship committee who review the applications and interview the scholars. This piece of the program engages alumni from all over the world, as it can be done electronically. Applicants must be an incoming freshman from an Arizona high school, and must have already been awarded the New American University Deans merit based scholarship.

*Communication regarding the scholarship process will be sent to your ASU email address. Please check this account frequently as we will provide updates on your application. Interviews for candidates selected to move on to the next round will take place on March 1 and 1, 2023.
