Summary

The University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology invites applications for a Assistant Professor board certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist. The ideal candidate will display excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care and the ability to work successfully with a team. In addition to providing patient care, the faculty member will be expected to conduct research, including clinical trials, publish, and teach medical students and residents.

Responsibilities*

In addition to your clinical practice, you will have opportunities for teaching and clinical services research. The selected candidate will have strong connections to and enjoy support and opportunities for collaborative work with University of Michigan faculty colleagues.

Required Qualifications*

Medical degree with completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology.  Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology. Possess expertise in a variety of radiation treatment methods.   Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses for the state of Michigan.  Previous record of publications in scientific journals, research and teaching is desirable

The position may be filled at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level depending on qualifications. 

Background Screening
