Summary
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), College of Engineering, University of Michigan, invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of inorganic functional materials. The position is for an experimentalist at the assistant or associate professor level; in exceptional cases, appointment at the full professor level will be considered. Emphasis will be placed on applicants with a record of outstanding research accomplishment and promise in the fields of electronic, energy, and/or quantum materials.

Required Qualifications*
We seek individuals to carry out research and teaching in highly collaborative environment, within MSE and across disciplines. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in MSE or a related field and should be passionate about teaching undergraduate and graduate courses within the field. We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute, through research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
