| Department Summary | The Department of Mathematics has 25 tenure system faculty, 13 lecturers, about 60 graduate students, and 220 majors. Our graduate degree offerings include a Ph.D. in Mathematics as well as M.A. and M.S. degrees. Undergraduate offerings include B.A. and B.S. degrees in Mathematics, with or without teacher certification. Additional information about the department is available at math.unt.edu. UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba. |
| Position Summary | The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in numerical analysis, applied partial differential equations or a closely related field. The successful candidate must show potential for exceptional research, excellence in teaching, and a clear commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, graduate and undergraduate student population. |
