Salary Information
Department Summary The Department of Mathematics has 25 tenure system faculty, 13 lecturers, about 60 graduate students, and 220 majors. Our graduate degree offerings include a Ph.D. in Mathematics as well as M.A. and M.S. degrees. Undergraduate offerings include B.A. and B.S. degrees in Mathematics, with or without teacher certification. Additional information about the department is available at math.unt.edu.

Position Summary The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in numerical analysis, applied partial differential equations or a closely related field.
The successful candidate must show potential for exceptional research, excellence in teaching, and a clear commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, graduate and undergraduate student population.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or expect to complete their Ph.D. by August 2023.
