ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – $52,195.36 – $61,167.00 annually (10 month appointment)
SCOPE OF WORK: To educate students in Management as outlined in a prescribed program curriculum and to coordinate departmental initiatives and/or institutional activities that advance the mission of the college. This position shall report to the Chairperson of the Business Studies Department at MCC.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in Business Administration or closely related field. Possession of a Master’s degree in Education shall require twelve (12) graduate credits in a subject area closely related to Business and/or Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in a subject area closely related to Business and/or Accounting.
Experience: Five (5) years of teaching experience in management or five (5) years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Business.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in teaching a variety of modalities (i.e., face-to-face, asynchronous, online synchronous, etc.). Knowledgeable in the process for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Quality Assurance and Self-Study reports. .
