Associate Legal Counsel (Student Affairs & International Engagement) Office of University Counsel–Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh–(22007901) The University of Pittsburgh, Office of University Counsel (“OUC”) is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel for the University. OUC provides advice and counsel to the University of Pittsburgh community—the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, the administration, the faculty, and the staff—on legal and policy matters, involving or affecting the University.This position provides comprehensive legal advice and strategic counsel to the Provost on all matters related to student and academic affairs and the Vice Chancellor for Global Affairs on all matters related to the University’s international engagement.The University of Pittsburgh ranks among the top universities in the world. This position provides legal support to all levels of the University, including the following offices, Provost Office, Division of Student Affairs, Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, Public Safety, University Center for International Studies, Office of International Services & graduate and undergraduate academic Deans’ offices.
Law Degree (JD or LDD) with 6-9 years of related work experience. Must be a member or eligible to become a member of the Pennsylvania Bar within one (1) year of hire.
