Associate Director of New Student Programs

Anderson University invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, Associate Director of New Student Programs. The Associate Director of New Student Programs serves as a team member in the Office of Student Involvement and New Student Programs with the central purpose of providing intentional engagement opportunities for new AU students to enhance their growth outside the classroom and their connection to the campus. The Associate Director will provide direct oversight for First Year Programs, Alpha Leaders, and day-to-day implementation of Base Camp and Welcome Week initiatives. This position will report directly to the Assistant Dean of Student Engagement and is expected to collaborate and assist the Student Involvement Team in a variety of student activities and college wide initiatives throughout the year. Additional managerial tasks may be assigned to maintain daily office operations. This student-centered position will require regular evening and weekend hours.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through completion of a master’s degree in Student Development, Higher Education, or closely related field is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or other database software is also required. Must be able to work with a diverse student population and demonstrate a commitment to the holistic development of students Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential.
