Associate Director, Class Connections

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CLASS CONNECTIONS, Alumni Association, to develop engagement strategies and provide class officer support for classes that are 26 to 50 years out from graduation.  Will manage reunions and mini-reunions and working closely with class volunteers to build community and increase class communications; manage the class officer elections process and select general Tech Reunions events; and oversee volunteer training and acknowledgment.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; three years of experience in alumni relations, annual fund, marketing, or public relations in a university or nonprofit setting; ability to recruit, motivate, train, and manage volunteers; excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, alumni, and constituents; ability to collaborate as part of a team in a diverse service-oriented environment; strategic and creative approach to work and openness to change; strong planning, organizational, analytical, presentation, and written and oral communication skills; initiative; attention to detail; ability to effectively develop and deliver training sessions for a wide variety of audiences; ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal; ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines without compromising quality in a demanding, high-volume work environment; discretion and good judgement with confidential information; proficiency with computers and standard applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and expertise with or willingness to learn the Anthology platform. PREFERRED:  knowledge of Ellucian Advance Web or other enterprise fundraising system and web presentation software such as WebEx and Zoom; marketing skills.  Job #21761-7

This position will be hybrid, with a combination of on-campus and remote work.
