Position Responsibilities
Position Summary | The Associate Dean for Operations & Access, University Libraries is a full-time senior leadership position that reports to the Dean, University Libraries and serves as a member of the Libraries Leadership Team. In coordination with the Dean, University Libraries, the Associate Dean for Operations & Access is responsible for guiding onboarding, orientation, and evaluation processes for classified staff and student employees; coordinating electronic and print collections acquisition, discovery, and management; overseeing user experience efforts in both physical and digital environments; and, in assigned areas, working directly with Unit Heads and Cross-Functional Team leads to set goals and measure performance indicators. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Degree Required | Listed degree qualification is required at time of application. |

Required Qualifications | 1) Must have a master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library program or the equivalent 2) Must be a current University of Idaho library faculty member and hold a rank of associate/full professor with tenure. 3) Have two or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | 1) A second master’s degree, doctorate, or specialized coursework. 2) Success in grants application. |
