The ideal candidate will have strong experience (and/or training) in community health research and public health or a related field, excellent quantitative and/or qualitative research skills, strong methodological skills, and a demonstrated track record of research funding or a strong intention to build a research portfolio. Clinical experience and training will be a plus, a robust record of conducting program needs assessments and evaluations, along with an expectation of a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to work in multidisciplinary research teams, excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, experience in working with or engaging community-based partners, demonstrated expertise in an area of population or public health research, such as (but not limited to) health disparities, rural health, and/or primary care health outcomes.
