| Brief Job Description | The Senior Advisor for Student Success and Retention is responsible for the direct oversight and coordination, success, and efficiency of the college’s completion and retention programs and services. This position includes administrative oversight of academic advisement, completion coaches and the student success portal administrator. The position will directly report to Vice President for Enrollment Management and will work collaboratively with the divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs to support student success outcomes. The incumbent will serve as the strategic and operational champion to enhance student success by developing and implementing student success and advisement strategies to advance learning, engagement, retention, and completion. In addition, the Senior Advisor is responsible for collaborating with the Academic Deans and Department Chairs to offer co-curricular services that support student development, academic achievement, and the College’s vision, mission, and values to support student achievement. The Senior Advisor will coordinate their retention efforts with other student support programs within the Academic Commons as well as campus wide partners to support student persistence. The Senior Advisor ensures effective data collection and analysis is occurring in all areas and that evidence-based recommendations are being made to college leadership to improve on student success outcomes. |
