Assistant Professorship in Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Zurich

The Department of Molecular Life Sciences (MLS) at the University of Zurich wishes to offer an assistant professorship to successful SNSF Professorial Fellowship or SNF Starting Grant applicants from the fields of molecular, cellular and computational biology. The MLS provides a lively, inclusive and diverse working environment where a wide range of cutting-edge approaches – including single-cell genomics, quantitative multi-scale imaging and computational biology – are applied to investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of living systems. Current research topics include multi-cellular dynamics and organ differentiation, systems biology, cancer genomics and neuronal development and function.
SNSF Professorial Fellowships, the replacement for the SNSF Eccellenza and Prima fellowships, are restricted to applicants with a connection to Switzerland (either Swiss nationality, a Swiss higher education degree or two years research experience in Switzerland). The submission deadline is 1st February 2023.
