The Department of English & Creative Writing at the University of Regina invites applications for a tenure-track position in World Literatures in English at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing September 1, 2025.
Applicants must have a PhD in English Literature or a closely related discipline, and an active research practice with a record of publication in world literatures or comparative literature, including specialization in one or more of the following: Black or Diasporic Literatures; Caribbean, African, or Decolonial Literatures; Indigenous Literatures; Asian, South Asian, or Latin American Literatures; connections between Canadian and global literatures. Teaching experience at the university or college level is required. An interest in Critical Race Studies would be considered an asset. Preference given to applicants who self-declare as a member of a visible minority, as per approval granted by the Human Rights Commission pursuant to Section 8 of the Human Rights Act.
