Assistant Professor Specialization in Development Economics

The Department of Economics at The University of Western Ontario invites applications for up to two probationary (tenure track) appointments, at the rank of Assistant Professor, in Economics, having a specialization in Development Economics, Econometrics, Industrial Organization, International Economics, Labor, Applied Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomic Theory, or Public Economics. Unless otherwise specified, these appointments are effective July 1, 2026 but an alternate starting date may be arranged.

Duties include course delivery in the Economics undergraduate and graduate programs, supervision of graduate students, maintaining an active research program including applying for external grant funds, and some administrative duties.
