| Ad Text: | The Department of Educational Studies at the University of Alabama invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Qualitative Research, with specific interests in qualitative methodologies that explore School Reform and School Change. The ideal scholar would have both methodological and field-based experiences with programmatic reforms that are framed within broader landscapes of whole school reform and/or school turnaround projects. The Department of Educational Studies houses a flourishing Educational Research Program that offers a PhD in Educational Research and both Qualitative and Quantitative Research Graduate Certificates. A successful candidate will join three existing qualitative research faculty and a vibrant and active qualitative research community, which includes doctoral students and affiliate faculty from across the university.
