Job Title: 3 Year Contract Limited Term, Assistant Professor in Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry Laboratory Instruction
Position Status: Temporary Full Time; OPSEU Local 685
Department: Department of Biology
Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
Preferred Start Date: August 15, 2024, or as negotiated

Qualifications
-Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, or a related field and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.
-This position is to teach 15 hours of lab instruction per week in each of the Fall and Winter semesters.
-Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching or expertise that would allow them to teach laboratory sessions for General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry
-demonstrated relevant academic background, research portfolio and a record of teaching excellence.
-experience with remote/online/hybrid instruction is desirable.
