About UC Blue Ash

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a twelve-month, non-tenure track Educator position in the Allied Health Department to begin January 1, 2023. UC Blue Ash is a regional college with an enrollment of approximately 4,500 students and more than 250 employees. It is located on a scenic 135-acre wooded campus in the heart of Blue Ash, Ohio. Job Overview

Educator faculty responsibilities include teaching courses in a variety of formats (face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid) within the associate degree Radiologic Technology program, bachelor degree Radiologic Imaging Technology program, bachelor degree Applied Administration Healthcare Leadership track, as well as general courses within the Allied Health Department; participating in recruitment, academic advising, program resource development, and program, department, college, and university functions. The candidate will also be expected to provide service to the department, college, and university and demonstrate evidence of professional activity.

Essential Functions

• Frequent communication, verbal and written.
• Amenable to working with diverse populations.
• Comfort with learning new technology.
• Using math/calculations.
• Visually or otherwise, identify, observe, and assess.
• Must have reliable transportation to clinical sites throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

Required Education

• A minimum of an associate degree in radiography.
• A completed master’s degree in Education, Health Administration, Health Promotion, Radiologic Science, or a related field before the effective date of appointment.

Required Trainings/Certifications

• Current certification and registration with the ARRT as a radiographer
• Current or the ability to obtain an Ohio Radiologic License.

Required Experience

• One year of teaching experience in the classroom, clinical, and/or laboratory settings.
• Experience working with digital imaging technology within the past three years.
• Proficiency in English and excellent information literacy/computer skills.
