| Brief Summary of Job Description | Assistant professor to work in the Aviation Systems department. Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Additional Director responsibilities will be assigned. |
| Job Duties | This position will assume overall leadership of the Aviation Systems Management program as part of a succession plan upon verification of requisite experience and skills. Job duties will be classroom teaching of undergraduate and graduate level course within the Aviation program. Additional duties include promoting and recruiting for the program. |
| Required Qualifications | Master’s degree in a related field is required for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) position. (Individuals that are ABD or are Masters qualified and interested in a “Grow Your Own” program towards a Doctoral degree are encouraged to apply.) Applicants must have significant relevant aviation industry experience and a passion for teaching. A current Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Single Engine, Multiengine and Instrument Airplane ratings as well as third class or higher medical certificate. To be eligible for a tenure-track position, applicant will be expected to complete a terminal (doctoral) degree. |
| Preferred Qualifications | PhD. or EdD. in a related field and experience in assessment / outcomes based accreditation. |
