Summary

The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan (bme.umich.edu), a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in our College of Engineering track. While applicants from all areas of biomedical engineering will be considered, the following topics are of special interest:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Image-guided Therapy
  • Molecular and Functional Imaging

Suitable candidates may enjoy partial appointments in other departments or Institutes within the University. Required Qualifications*

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in engineering or a physical science-related discipline and demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. M.D./Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.
