Stroke Rehabilitation Physician –
The Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a full-time physician for an outstanding academic practice opportunity in Stroke rehabilitation. The position involves inpatient and outpatient practice, teaching of residents and medical students, and an opportunity to participate in collaborative clinical research. In addition to Stroke rehabilitation care, there is also the potential to participate in other rehabilitation services such as electromyography, spasticity management, prosthetics and inpatient rehabilitation consultation. Consider joining an expanding and motivated team of physicians, nurses and therapists that run the largest inpatient Stroke rehabilitation program in Maryland.
Qualifications
Candidates should have completed a residency in PM&R or Neurology and be Board eligible or certified in their respective field. The candidate should be eligible for academic appointment to the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the Instructor or Assistant Professor levels.
