The SWPS University is a non-public university conducting research and offering practical and academic studies in Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot, Poznań and Katowice. The University’s teaching offer includes courses in social sciences, humanities, but also design and graphics.

Tasks:

• Conducting scientific research
• Preparation and submission of grant applications
• Publishing research results in high-ranking journals and monographs
• Enhancing research skills
• Conducting teaching activities
• Organizational activities for the Faculty
• Improving the skills of an academic teacher
• Developing original course programs
• Organizing the teaching process
• Organizing conferences and scientific seminars

Skills/Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in psychology (obtained no later than September 30, 2024) and a master’s degree in psychology or related fields OR a doctoral degree in related fields of psychology (obtained no later than September 30, 2024) and a master’s degree in psychology;
• Teaching experience and scientific achievements in one of the specified areas: statistics, research methodology in psychology, psychological diagnosis, or psychometrics;
• Experience in actively participating in international scientific conferences;
• A scientific record in the field of psychology confirmed by publications in peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor;
• Experience in implementing grants (as a project leader, principal investigator, or fellow) funded by external sources or experience in obtaining funding for research;
• Fluent knowledge of the Polish language;
• Willingness to conduct classes on weekdays and/or weekends;
• Declaration of employment at the SWPS University as the primary place of work.

Eligibility criteria

Formal criteria:

Academic achievements – 50% of the final assessment

Teaching achievements – 30% of the final assessment;

Organizational and practical achievements – 20% of the final assessment.
