Assistant Professor, Any Field

The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but appointment at a higher rank is possible under exceptional circumstances.  We welcome applications from qualified candidates in any field of Economics. The position start date is August 1, 2024.

Job Duties:

Teaching, research, and service to the institution.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Candidates should have completed their PhD or be near completion. An applicant’s record of performance must provide evidence of an innovative research portfolio. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to show a capacity to teach, mentor, and support students of diverse lived experiences, with a particular attention to women and other designated groups that are underrepresented in the discipline.
