The Academy of Music in Katowice announces a competition for the position of assistant professor

1. The competition may be entered by people who:

• meet the requirements set out in art. 113 Ustawy z dnia 20 lipca 2018 r. Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce,

• have a master’s degree in art • demonstrate significant achievements in artistic and teaching activities.

2. Candidates entering the competition must submit the following documents to the Human Resources Department:

• application for admission to the competition containing the following clause: 

„Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych zawartych w mojej ofercie pracy dla potrzeb niezbędnych do realizacji procesu rekrutacji” (zgodnie z ustawą z dnia 10 maja 2018 roku o Ochronie Danych Osobowych, tekst jednolity: Dz.U. z 2018 r., poz. 1000),

• CV and personal questionnaire, • diploma of graduation from higher master’s studies, • declaration of no criminal record,

• a brief description of artistic and teaching achievements for the period from 01/01/2019 to 31/08/2022,

• in the case of candidates employed at the Academy of Music Karol Szymanowski in Katowice – description of organizational achievements for the period from 1 October 2021 to 30 June 2022,

• presentation of the candidate’s plans for artistic, scientific, didactic and organizational activities for the Academy. 3. Candidates are required, within the time limit set by the selection board, to:

• conducting an approx. 20-minute demonstration lesson with the participation of a student (s) selected by the candidate,

• performance of an approximately 15-minute recital.

4. The competition committee has the right to conduct an interview with the candidate.

 A positive outcome of the competition does not guarantee employment in the position of an assistant professor
