Assistant Professor

The National Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases is seeking applications for the position of assistant professor in the 1st

Department of Respiratory Medicine.

Candidates joining the competition are required to meet the following requirements:

1. degree of doctor of medical sciences;

2. title of specialist in lung diseases;

3. knowledge and experience in the field which is the subject of scientific activity of the entity: chronic obstructive pulmonary

disease, asthma, breathing disorders during sleep, interstitial lung disease (Including sarcoidosis), chronic respiratory failure,

pathophysiology of the respiratory system, pulmonary embolism – documented scientific achievements in the area specified in the notice;

4. experience in conducting researches documented participation in research projects as a contractor or coordinator;

5. minimum 15 years of experience working in the departments dealing with the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic respiratory failure, asthma ( including sever type), respiratory disorders during sleep, interstitial lung diseases (eg. Sarcoidosis);

6. experience in international cooperation;

7. membership in national and / or international scientific societies;

8. enjoy full civil rights.

Candidates are required to provide the following documents:

3. copies of documents confirming the qualifications and meeting the additional requirements to hold the office, as well as academic

achievements,

4. description of the professional career,

5. statement that candidate enjoy full public rights, a statement of no criminal record for professional misconduct and criminal offenses.

The competition procedures are carried by Competition Commission which will inform selected candidates about the date of interview.

The final decision on employment will be taken until 09.12. 2022 r .
