Assistant Professor

The National Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases is seeking applications for the position of assistant professor in the

Department of Microbiology

Candidates joining the competition are required to meet the following requirements:

1. degree of doctor of medical sciences;

2. knowledge and experience in the field which is the subject of scientific activity of the entity: knowledge of microbiological methods in the diagnosis of tuberculosis, with particular emphasis on knowledge of determining the phenotype and genotype of mycobacterial drug resistance and knowledge of molecular biology techniques used in epidemiological investigations in tuberculosis – documented scientific achievements in the area specified in the notice;

3. experience in conducting researches documented participation in research projects as a contractor or coordinator;

4. minimum 8 years of experience working in the microbacterial laboratory;

5. experience in international cooperation;

6. possess title of laboratory diagnostician;

7. enjoy full civil rights.

The competition procedures are carried by Competition Commission which will inform selected candidates about the date of interview.

The final decision on employment will be taken until 09.12. 2022 r .
