Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in physical sciences. Scientific achievements (publications) in computational physics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Experience with OpenFOAM, LBM (Palabos) or Fluent software. Knowledge of the Lattice Boltzmann Method and Finite Volume Methods. Knowledge of numerical methods for solving differential equations. Programming skills and ability to perform calculations (CFD simulations) in C++, Python or similar language. Leadership or participation in research projects. Experience in giving talks at international forums (conferences, workshops). Fluency in spoken and written English. Primary responsibilities:
Conducting research, preparing and analyzing results, attending scientific meetings, preparing scientific publications, actively participating in scientific conferences and seminars, performing tasks set in the research grant, collaborating with other participants in the research grant including support for groups working with non-grid methods.
