The department’s actuarial program is a Center of Actuarial Excellence, designated by the Society of Actuaries. We currently have over 100 undergraduate students and about a dozen M.S. and Ph.D. students preparing for actuarial careers. Our graduates find stimulating employment with local and national insurance companies and consulting firms. We currently have four full-time faculty members supporting the program. | Job Summary | The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR beginning in Fall 2023. The department is seeking an outstanding candidate with a PhD in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics or a related area with research expertise in actuarial science. |
