THE INVITATION

for the selection

one employee for the I-type position in the scientific-teaching proffesion and the scientific-teaching position of assistant professor, from the scientific field of Social Sciences, the scientific field of Sociology, employed permanently with the full time position,

Applicants need to fulfil the conditions stipulated by Labor Law (Official Gazette No. 93/14, 127/17 i 98/19) and the general conditions stipulated by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education, Article 93 and 95 (Official Gazette No. 123/03., 198/03., 105/04., 174/04., 2/07., 46/07., 45/09., 63/11., 94/13., 139/13., 101/14., 60/15 i 131/17.) and special conditions special conditions prescribed by the Decision of the Board of Rectors on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of teaching and scientific-professional activities in the selection process for scientific-teaching professions (Official Gazette No. 122/17), the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, refined text, temporary Statute of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Pozega and the special conditions prescribed in Article 13 of the Rulebook on the Implementation of the Selection/Re-election Procedure for Titles and Appropriate Positions of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, which are published on the website of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Pozega www.vup.hr .

Along with the application for the competition, candidates are obliged to attach documentation according to Form 2. – Application for the competition for selection into a scientific-teaching profession/artistic-teaching profession and the corresponding position. Form 2 is published on the Faculty’s website. The documentation is submitted in two copies, except for the papers (of which 1 is original) and in electronic form on CD and PDF format. Along with the competition application, candidates are obliged to attach evidence of meeting the requirements of the Rectors’ Council in accordance with the Decision of the Rectors’ Council on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of teaching and scientific-professional activities in the selection process for scientific-teaching professions (Official Gazette No. 122/17).

Applicants of both genders can apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal conditions of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is considered to be an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the tender and that is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

If the candidate exercises the right of preference in employment according to a special law, he is obliged to refer to this right in the application for the competition, to attach documents proving the status on the basis of which he exercises the right of preference, a certificate from the Croatian Employment Service issued during the duration of the competition as proof of the unemployed status person and proof that shows how the employment relationship with the last employer ended. The advantage over other candidates is achieved only under equal conditions. For candidates who are foreign nationals, it is necessary to attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2). In case of election, a foreign citizen must have his foreign higher education qualification recognized before starting an employment relationship.

All applicants will be notified of the results of the invitation no later than 15 days from the date of its completion.

All tender candidates are required to submit a completed and signed Consent form published on the Faculty’s website, in which the candidate consents to the collection and processing of all personal data contained in the tender documentation for the purpose of conducting the tender in accordance with the regulations governing the protection personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and ofthe Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) Without a duly completed and signed Consent Form accompanying the competition application, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
