| Job Summary: | The University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks to hire a faculty member with research and teaching interests in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Medical Imaging. This position in Electrical and Computer Engineering is part of a campus-wide cluster initiative to expand and broaden interdisciplinary expertise in AI in Precision Medical Imaging and Diagnostics. The three faculty comprising the cluster will build a world-class core of interdisciplinary strength in artificial intelligence, computational imaging, computer vision, medical imaging, and AI in medical diagnostics that integrate imaging data with other medical information. The cluster hiring initiative involves the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Radiology, Medical Physics, Computer Science, and the Business School. It is anticipated that successful candidates will develop strong collaborations with existing medical imaging research programs, within the College of Engineering, across campus, and with extramural partners beyond UW-Madison.
