A record of teaching excellence in a university context is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also be able to contribute to the undergraduate program in Jewish Studies. We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research, and service.

Application Instructions

Interested candidates are invited to upload via Interfolio: 1) a cover letter detailing their qualifications, 2) a teaching portfolio, 3) a detailed curriculum vitae, and 4) at least three letters of recommendation. The deadline for applications is Dec. 1, 2022. Please direct questions about the search to Prof. Hans C. Boas (hcb@mail.utexas.edu ) with the words “Yiddish search” in the subject line. Rank and salary will depend upon qualifications.
