Train to be a Locksmith at the University of Bath!
About the role
The Building Services section provides an in-house service to the University community covering reactive maintenance and repairs in respect of the building fabric, doors, windows along with the creation of simple, good quality bespoke furniture and equipment as may be required.
Within this team the Locksmith has responsibility for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of locks and their components for both academic and residential buildings across campus.
Your role will be to train in order to be able to support the Locksmith to undertake their role.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

Usual hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08.15am to 4.45pm, Friday 08.15am to 3.45pm. Though you may be requested to work flexibly at any time between 7am and 7pm.
About the Department
Working in the Campus Infrastructure department who are responsible for the strategic planning, development and management of the University’s land and buildings, you will join the Building Services team. Your new role will include but not be limited to planned and unplanned maintenance activities in academic buildings, residences and sports facilities.
