Minimum Position Qualifications A master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Event Management, or a related field is required.
Three (3) years of professional post-master’s degree work experience in the related field is required.
Special Conditions The department will begin screening applicants immediately. 
This position may require live-on at the discretion of the department.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This position may require work beyond normal business hours which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position will be on a 24-hour on-call rotation.

Hiring Range $55,000 – $58,000 per year

Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities Residential Environment: Responsible for overall support and the direction of the residential area (housing 1,200 to 3,00 students), including but not limited to supervision of special interest housing programs, collaboration with Living Learning Communities, and overall resident experience. Manage resident check-in and check-out processes, room change, and other hall practices of the area.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision for staff, full-time residence life coordinators, graduate assistants, undergraduate resident advisors, and summer conference staff within the residential area. Supervise student payroll practices, completion of performance appraisals, and accountability measures for staff.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide overall direction for Residence Hall programming initiatives, as well as collaboration
with the campus partners to develop and support campus initiatives that support current students, prospective students, and parents/families.
Duties & Responsibilities In collaboration with the department marketing and outreach coordinator, represent the department at the university recruitment events for prospective students and families.
Duties & Responsibilities Participate in assistant director on-call schedule and serve as the department representative for division and university emergency response, crisis intervention, and other committees, and training.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the development of entry-level professional staff, undergraduate student staff
training, and professional development opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist under the direction of the associate director, with recruitment and selection efforts for entry-level professional staff, undergraduate Resident Advisor staff selection, and selection processes of departmental vacancies.
Duties & Responsibilities Conduct regular facilities inspections of residential areas and supervise hall staff, follow-up on work orders, and resident building concerns.
Duties & Responsibilities In collaboration with the Office of Student Accountability, support and uphold Housing and Residence Life policies as well as the University student code of conduct. Supervise and train staff to ensure compliance and departmental standards, assuring documentation and follow-up are completed. Serve as a hearing officer for alleged policy violations. Collaborate with campus partners to identify student needs in the residential areas.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist with conference housing operations, which include but are not limited to conference scheduling, conference billing, conference contract agreements, and conference staff supervision.
